The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (Yorkshire & Humber) (No.13) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of irregular shaped southern part width of Drome Road at York, in the City of York. This is to enable development as permitted by City of York Council under reference 25/02334/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO9635872). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Copmanthorpe Post Office, 9 The Shopping Centre, Copmanthorpe, York, YO23 3GG.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 3 August 2026.
