What is planned?

The following applications have been submitted for Planning Permission/Listed Building Consent or fall within a Conservation Area.

- 2026/0453/LBC
192 High Street: Internal alterations including removal of ceiling plaster, wall plaster, timber to front room of first floor to investigate dry rot. (Listed Building Consent)

- 2026/0429/FUL
1 - 5 Queen Street: Demolition of the existing buildings on the site and the erection of two 2-storey buildings to provide 14no. self-contained flats with associated access, bin storage and ancillary works.

The Local Planning Authority will take into account any representations received within 21 days from the publication of this notice.

In the case of householder applications, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about the application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
