What is planned?

SOUTH DERBYSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL
The Council has under consideration the following application:

Ref: DMPA/2025/1731 (Affects a Public Right of Way) Approval of reserved matters (appearance, landscaping & scale) pursuant to outline permission ref. DMPA/2026/0084 for the erection of 3 dwellings on Land to the north of Darklands Lane, Swadlincote

Ref: DMPA/2026/0209 (Affects a Conservation Area) Replacement of existing windows with uPVC units & existing rear window & door with uPVC French doors & existing front door with timber panelled door at 15 Chapel Street, Melbourne 

Ref: DMPA/2026/0844 (Affects a Conservation Area & a Listed Building) Listed Building Consent for the repainting of 2 external doors & a gate, the installation of a parcel letterbox to the gate & a deadlock mechanism to the front door at 7 Branch Croft, Melbourne 

Ref: DMPA/2026/0885 (Affects a Conservation Area, a Listed Building & the Setting of a Listed Building) Listed Building Consent to carry out repairs to Priory Precinct Wall at Repton School, Boot Hill, Repton

Ref: DMPA/2026/0918 (Affects a Listed Building) Listed Building Consent to replace windows at Tower House, Porters Lane, Findern

Ref: DMPA/2026/0941 (Affects a Conservation Area & the Setting of a Listed Building) Erection of 2 three bedroomed dwellings & associated parking & landscaping on Land off Trent Lane, Kings Newton

Applications may be viewed at planning.southderbyshire. gov.uk or during working hours at the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, DE11 0AH. Any comments must be made in writing, quoting the application reference number, within 21 days of the date of the publication of this notice (not including public holidays).

This notice is given in accordance with provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and/or associated subordinate legislation.

Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, all representations received become documents, which the public has a right to read and copy. We collect information from you when you contact us about a planning or associated application, enforcement complaint, planning enquiry, or local planning policy consultation. This includes contact by email, letter or telephone. When commenting on planning or associated applications, we do need your postal address to enable fair consideration of your comments. 

We will use your information to allow us to fully consider the relevant application, enforcement complaint or planning enquiry. Comments and objections on applications and enforcement matters do not form part of the statutory register, and as such we will only retain these for up to two years following a decision being made unless an appeal islodged.
