I give notice that: Urban Splash Developments Ltd & The Council of the City and County of Swansea is applying to the: Swansea City Council for planning permission to (Description of proposed development): Phased change of use and extension of the Civic Centre, to include residential, flexible retail/commercial/leisure floorspace and an aquarium, including external alterations, public realm and landscaping, car parking and related infrastructure and engineering works
Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should write to the local authority at: Swansea Council, Y Storfa, 277-278 Oxford Street, Swansea, SA1 3EL by: 21/08/2026 Date giving a period of 21 days beginning with the date of service, or 14 days beginning with the date of publication, of the notice (as the case may be)
Members of the public may inspect copies of the
application, the plans, and any other documents submitted with it at the local authority during all reasonable hours until the date stated above, and online on the local authority website.
* "owner" means a person having a freehold interest or a leasehold interest the unexpired term of which is not less than seven years.
** "tenant" means an agricultural tenant, as defined in Section 65(8) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended), of the land any part of which is comprised in the land to which the application relates
