LEEDS CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, that Leeds City Council is intending to dispose of land comprising public open space by way of a lease, particulars of which are set out in the Schedule below.
A plan showing the area of land concerned is available at www.leeds.gov.uk/open-space-notice or can be provided upon request by writing to Land & Property, City Development, Leeds City Council, Merrion House, 110 Merrion Centre, Leeds LS2 8BB or by email to AM&R.New.Work.Instruction@ leeds.gov.uk (quoting reference, Church Lane Playing Fields, Methley).
Any person who wishes to object to the proposed disposal should submit written representations by post to Land & Property, 10th Floor East, Merrion House, Merrion Way, Leeds LS2 8BB or by email to AM&R.New.Work.Instruction@ leeds.gov.uk (quoting reference, Church Lane Playing Fields, Methley) by no later than the 15 August 2026.
SCHEDULE
The disposal will be by way of a 25 year lease of land and buildings at Church Lane, Methley, Leeds LS26 (which has an area of 83 square yards or thereabouts) for use of the premises as changing rooms and tea hut.
