The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North West) (No.30) Order 2026" authorising the stopping up two irregular shaped western part widths of Perth Street at Blackburn, in the Borough of Blackburn with Darwen. This is to enable development as permitted by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council under reference 10/25/0505.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO2960808). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Blackburn with Darwen Council, 10 Duke Street, Blackburn, Lancashire, BB1 1DH.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 27 July 2026.
