What is planned?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to deter obstructive parking, and improve sightlines and general road safety for both pedestrians and motorists, the general effect of the Free Parking Places Order would be to:

(a) Extend the lengths of ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions outside The Independent Jewish Day School on Green Lane NW4 by approximately 12 metres.

(b) Extend the existing ‘No Stopping’ School Keep Clear restrictions operating 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday outside The Independent Jewish Day School on Green Lane NW4, by approximately 12 metres.

Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing Highwayscorrespondence@Barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.

Further information on the proposals may be obtained by visiting the Barnet Traffweb website https://barnet.traffweb.app or telephoning the Design Team on 020 8359 3555.

Any person wishing to comment on the proposed Order should send a written statement explaining their comments, and quoting reference number SCR729 (HWASSM-03 IJS), to the Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TraffWeb website or via email to Highwayscorrespondence@Barnet.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
