Publicity for Applications for Planning Permission, Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 (as amended), Notice under Article 15(4) or (5) or Article 16 of Applications for Planning Permission, Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 (as amended), The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990 (as amended)

Application Ref: 23/000033/REG3, Applicant: Worcestershire County Council, Proposal: Application to demolish existing Over Carpark Apron structure adjacent to the Engine Works Building. The existing structure has been found to be unsafe and beyond repair and therefore needs to be demolished. –

AMENDED/FURTHER INFORMATION, Location: Engine Works Building, Shrub Hill Industrial Estate, Shrub Hill Road, Worcester, WR4 9EL

Worcestershire County Council is applying to Worcestershire County Council for planning permission for the above proposal. The development may affect the Grade II Listed Building of Worcester Engine Works, and the setting of Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas. The County Council previously consulted on the above proposal between 14th September 2023 and 6th October 2023. The applicant has submitted amended/further information, and the County Council are now seeking comments on this amended/further information.

Members of the public may inspect electronic copies of the amended/further information, together with the application, plans and other documents submitted with the application online at:

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application and/or amended/further information should write to the Council, either online using the link above or by email/post to the address at the bottom of this notice. The period for making representations about this proposal ends on 13th August 2026. Please state whether you would wish to address the Planning & Regulatory Committee if given the opportunity.

All previous comments submitted to the Council on this proposal will be taken into account in the determination of this application, and there is no need to write again, unless you wish to amend or withdraw your comments, or make further comments on the application and/or amended/further information.
