The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No.15) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of southern part width of High Street Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Essex. This is to enable development as permitted by Maldon District Council under reference 25/00936/HOUSE.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO0602203). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Maldon District Council, Princes Road, Essex, CM9 5DL.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 23 July 2026.
