RG24 9LNPublished 23/07/26

What is planned?

NOTICE OF AMENDED PLANNING APPLICATION

TO BE CONSIDERED AT APPEAL

Proposed development: Full Planning Application for residential development of the site with access, roads, parking, open space, SuDs and associated infrastructure for 26 residential dwellings.

Site: Land at Cransfield, Sherborne St John, Basingstoke

Take notice that B. Yond Homes Ltd is submitting amended plans to the Planning Inspectorate regarding planning application 25/02051/FUL.

The proposed amendments include:

• Extended areas of unadopted access road to be built to adoptable standards to allow refuse vehicles to traverse the site.

• The incorporation of a Flood Risk Compensation Area (FCA) to the eastern side of the site for further mitigation of surface water flooding and repositioning of associated landscaping.

• Revised finished floor levels to new dwellings, particularly the ground being reprofiled to remove the localised depression around Plot 14, and in doing so the surface water flood risk to the development is suitably addressed.

• Increase in rear garden area to Plot 16 to ensure sufficient private amenity space is provided.

• Revision to Plot 25 with the omission of rear window to address overlooking concerns.

Members of the public may inspect copies of the amended appeal plans, and other documents submitted online at www.landatcranesfield.co.uk

Anyone who wishes to make representations about these amended plans should submit comments by email to adam@spbroadway.com or by post to Freepost SP BROADWAY (no address or stamp required on the envelope) within 21 days of the date of this notice.
