NOTICE OF APPROPRIATION OF AN OPEN SPACE

LAND AT MYNYDD GARNLLWYD ROAD, MORRISTON, SWANSEA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City and County of Swansea proposes to appropriate land at Mynydd Garnllwyd Road, Morriston, Swansea for the purposes of education, namely the construction of a new special school building. The land proposed to be appropriated is currently held by the Council as general fund land and is considered to be surplus to requirements for those purposes.

A plan of the land proposed to be appropriated is available for inspection in the foyer of the offices of the Council of the City and County of Swansea, Y Storfa, 277-278 Oxford Street, Swansea SA1 3EL.

Objections to the proposed appropriation must be made in writing and addressed to the Head of Property Services, The Council of the City and County of Swansea, Civic Centre, Oystermouth Road, Swansea SA1 3SN, under reference "Open Space

Appropriation" and quoting the reference number SR/2627400 or made via the Council's website at http://www.swansea.gov.uk/publicnotices by 5pm on 18th August 2026.
