PUBLIC NOTICE OF A STREET TRADING RESOLUTION

NOTICE IS GIVEN under Paragraph 2(9) of Schedule 4 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 (the Act) that

On 15th April 2026 following a period of public consultation Buckinghamshire Council passed a resolution under Paragraph 2(8) of Schedule 4 to the Act:

1.  Revoking all previous street trading designations made under Schedule 4 of the Act by the predecessor district councils (namely Aylesbury Vale District Council, Chiltern District Council, South Bucks District Council and Wycombe District Council) with effect from 1st October 2026.

2.  Designating all streets within the Buckinghamshire Council Area as Consent Streets under Para 2(1)(c) of Schedule 4 of the Act with effect from 1st October 2026.

A “Consent Street” is a street in which street trading is prohibited without the consent of the Council.
