Application for Planning Permission accompanied by an Environmental Statement

Proposed development at Heyford Park, Camp Road, Upper Heyford, OX25 5HD (26/01163/REM)

I give notice that on 7 May 2026 Cherwell District Council received an application for planning permission for “Reserved Matters approval in relation to Parcels 17 (Residential), 18 (Sports Park) and 34 (Area for Community Use) of planning permission 18/00825/HYBRID. The application seeks approval of access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale for the erection of 62 residential units on Parcel 17 with associated roads, footways, parking, landscaping and a community orchard. The application also proposes a sports park comprising sports pitches and play area on Parcel 18 and an associated pavilion would be provided on Parcel 34, with a car parking”. The approved planning permission to which this application relates was accompanied by an Environmental Statement.

The proposal constitutes “major” development and the proposed development would, in the opinion of the Council, affect;

at Cherwell District Council offices, 39 Castle Quay, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 5FD between the hours of 8.45am - 5.15pm Monday to Friday inclusive during the period of 30 days beginning with the date of this notice. Details of the application are available to view through the Council’s website via the Online Planning Service at https://planningregister.cherwell.gov.uk/. Please be advised that details of the application may be amended at any time before a final decision is issued, therefore you are advised to monitor the application’s progress via the Online Planning Service where amended plans will be posted. Should you wish to receive updates, please register online using the “Track an Application” option.

Members of the public may obtain hard copies of the Environmental Statement which accompanied the application by contacting Dorchester Group, 52 Camp Road, Heyford Park, Bicester, OX25 5HD. There may be a cost involved for obtaining a copy of the Environmental Statement.
