Mae Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Eryr
i wedi penderfynu ar gais gan National Grid Electricity Transmission PLC am ganiatâd cynllunio ar gyfer datblygiad sy’n dod o fewn cwmpas y Rheoliadau uchod (a elwir yn “ddatblygiad AEA” yn y Rheoliadau). Y Cais, cyfeirnod NP5/73/287V  ar gyfer:

Gosod ceblau tanddaearol newydd, a phennau selio ceblau, adweithydd ‘shunt’, gantri a lledu rhan o'r ffordd fynediad presennol o fewn y compownd wedi'i ffensio yn is-orsaf Trawsfynydd a gwaith ategol cysylltiedig fel rhan o Brosiect Atgyfnerthu Pentir i Drawsfynydd, Safle Dadgomisiynu, Trawsfynydd. LL41 4DT wedi ei gymeradwyo gydag amodau.

Mae cynnwys y penderfyniad ac unrhyw amodau ar gael ar safle we'r Awdurdod www.eryri.llyw.cymru. I edrych ar y rhybudd penderfyniad, gellir eu gweld drwy ddewis ‘Cynllunio a Datblygu’ ar y dudalen gartref, cyn dewis ‘Chwilio Ceisiadau Cynllunio’ i ddarganfod yr opsiynau sydd ar gael.

Mae’r prif resymau ac ystyriaethau y mae’r penderfyniad yn seiliedig arnynt, ynghyd â gwybodaeth am gyfranogiad y cyhoedd, ar gael ar safle we'r Awdurdod www.eryri.llyw.cymru .

O dan Adran 288 o Ddeddf Cynllunio Gwlad a Thref (1990), os yw unrhyw berson yn ddig ynghylch y penderfyniad ac yn dymuno cwestiynu dilysrwydd y penderfyniad hwnnw;
a) nad yw’r gorchymyn o fewn pwerau’r Ddeddf hon, neu
b) na chydymffurfiwyd ag unrhyw un o’r gofynion perthnasol mewn perthynas â’r
gorchymyn hwnnw, caiff wneud cais i’r Uchel Lys o dan yr adran hon o fewn 42 diwrnod (6 wythnos) o ddyddiad y penderfyniad: 15/07/2026

STATEMENT OF DECISION ON AN EIA APPLICATION
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING
(ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT)
(WALES) REGULATIONS 2017 REGULATION 28

Eryri National Park Authority
has determined an application by National Grid Electricity Transmission PLC for planning permission for development falling within the scope of the above Regulations (called “EIA development” in the Regulations). The Application, reference NP5/73/287V for:

Installation of new underground cables, and cable sealing ends, shunt reactor, gantry and the widening of part of the existing access road within the fenced compound at Trawsfynydd substation and associated ancillary works as part of the Pentir to Trawsfynydd Reinforcement Project, Decommissioning Site, Trawsfynydd. LL41 4DT
has been Approved subject to conditions.

The content of the decision and any conditions attached are available on the Authority's website at www.eryri.llyw.cymru. To view the copyrighted public documents submitted with the application, can be accessed by selecting ‘Planning & Development’ link from the home page before choosing ‘Search Planning Applications’ from the available options. The main reasons and considerations on which the decision is based, along with information about the participation of the public, is contained in Schedule 2 below. Under Section 288 of the Town and Country Planning Act (1990), if any person is aggrieved by the decision and wishes to question the validity of that decision in that;  

a) the order is not within the powers of this Act, or
b) any of the relevant requirements have not been complied with in relation to that order, he/she may make an application to the High Court under this section within 42 days (6 weeks) from the date of the decision: 15/07/2026.

Eryri National Park Planning and Access Committee has considered carefully the planning issued raised by this proposal, together with all representations received, and, having regard to national, regional and local planning policy, (the Development Plan) has concluded that, planning permission should be permitted subject to conditions.
