What is planned?

NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF THE PROPOSED DRAFT LONDON PLAN

(Spatial Development Strategy for Greater London) - Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) Greater London Authority Act 1999 (as amended)

The Mayor of London has prepared proposals for the replacement of the spatial development strategy for Greater London - Draft London Plan.

If these proposals are published they will set a strategic framework for planning in Greater London.

Copies of the proposals and an Integrated Impact Assessment and a Habitats Regulations Assessment are available for public inspection at: City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, London, E16 1ZE, free of charge, Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, until Thursday 15 October 2026.

Representations on these proposals may be submitted using the online consultation tool on: https://consult.london.gov.uk/.

Representations can also be made via email to: londonplan@london.gov.uk with 'Draft London Plan' in the subject box or sent in writing to: Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, Draft London Plan, London Plan Team, Planning & Regeneration, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, London, E16 1ZE.

The online consultation tool is the preferred method of submission where possible, as it enables representations to be processed more efficiently. However, representations submitted by email or in writing will be accepted and considered equally.

Representations must be received no later than 5:00 pm on Thursday 15 October 2026.

The Mayor is not required to consider any representations received after this date.
