Denton Road - Public Footpath Diversion Order

NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 - SECTION 257
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 9 (ILKLEY) (PART) DIVERSION ORDER 2025 -
LAND OFF DENTON ROAD, ILKLEY
On 14 July 2026, the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (the “Council”) confirmed the above Order.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the length of Public Footpath No.9 (Ilkley) commencing from Denton Road in Ilkley marked between points A-B-C by a bold black line shown on the Order map ref: 66666/T286_Order Plan annexed to the Order and create an alternative footpath shown by bold black dashes marked between points A-D-C on the Order map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be examined on the Council’s website https://bradford.moderngov.co.uk/mgConsultationDisplay.aspx.
They may also be seen free of charge at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY during normal office hours Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased there.
The Order comes into force on the date on which the Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from the date of this notice.
