What is planned?
STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCILROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED)PUBLIC FOOTPATH NOS. 45 AND 46 CROXDEN PARISH AND PUBLIC FOOTPATH NOS. 27 AND 28 (PART) ROCESTER PARISH
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 7/7/26, made an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along the following lengths of footpaths for the duration of the LIV Golf Event 2026:
– Public Footpath No. 45 Croxden Parish from its junction with Hollington Road for approximately 25 metres in a southerly direction and then continuing in a south-westerly direction for approximately 320 metres to its junction with Combridge Lane.
– Public Footpath No. 46 Croxden Parish from its junction with Hollington Road for approximately 257 metres in a southerly direction and then continuing in a south-westerly direction for approximately 146 metres to its junction with Combridge Lane.
– Public Footpath No. 27 Rocester Parish from its junction with Hollington Road for approximately 1045m in a south-westerly direction to its junction with Combridge Lane.
– Public Footpath No. 28 Rocester Parish from its junction with the B5030 road for approximately 312 metres in a south easterly direction and then continuing for approximately 555 metres in a generally south westerly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 29(a) Rocester Parish.
These restrictions are necessary to maintain safety of the public, personnel and participants of the event and to facilitate the LIV Golf Event 2026 itself, including site preparation and de-rig post event.
This Order will come into operation on 18/7/26 and will remain in force until 27/7/26
The event is being managed by the JCB Golf and Country Club.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 9/7/26 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
Withington Ln & Link Rd Adjacent to Farmers Arms, Withington. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB147973579. The Order will come into operation on 21/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/7/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the telecoms works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 21/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 21/7/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 22/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 22/7/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Forest Rd, Six Roads End, Forest Rd & Thorney Lanes, Marchington Woodlands. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB148341662. The Order will come into operation on 21/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/9/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the mains rehab replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
School Hill, Hoar Cross. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149422666. The Order will come into operation on 20/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 24/7/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new service connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
Bondfield Ln, Yoxall. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB150789571. The Order will come into operation on 3/8/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 18/8/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas mains works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Lane From Field Ln To Dodsleigh, Dodsleigh & Lane from Hothill Ln to Field Ln & Farm Ln in Withington. The Order will come into operation on 30/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 11/8/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the telecoms works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT AND LEFT TURN AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 9/7/26 made an Order the effect of which is to temporary prohibit the left hand and right-hand turn along:
Forest Rd, Lichfield Rd, Draycott Cliff, Six Roads End and temporary prohibition of traffic on Wood Ln and Newborough Rd, Six Road Ends. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB148450682.
The Order will come into operation on 21/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date.
