PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AT: Junction of A259, B2233 (Yapton Road) and Climping Street (Easting: 499779, Northing: 101705)
TAKE NOTICE THAT a planning application is being made to WSCC (Planning Authority) by WSCC (Major Projects) under Regulation 3 of the Town and Country Planning General Regulations 1992, for planning permission to:
‘The construction of a new four-arm roundabout at the Oystercatcher Junction of the A259 to connect the A259 with the B2233 (Yapton Road) and Climping Street. Construction of bus stops, bus lane, crossings, foot and cycleways, improvements to the existing National Cycle Network Route 2; alteration of the existing accesses to local facilities; and associated development including landscaping, drainage and ecological mitigation.’
Any owner of the land (namely a freeholder or a person entitled to an unexpired term of at least 7 years under a lease) or agricultural tenant who wish to make representations about the application, should make them in writing not later than 21 days beginning from the day of the date of this notice letter, to: Planning Services, WSCC, County Hall, Chichester, PO19 1RH or by email to: planning.applications@westsussex.gov.uk. STATEMENT OF OWNERS’ RIGHTS: The grant of planning permission does not affect owner’s rights to retain or dispose of their property, unless there is some provision to the contrary in an agreement or in a lease. ‘Owner’ means a person having a freehold interest or a leasehold interest the unexpired term of which is not less than seven years.
STATEMENT OF AGRICULTURAL TENANTS’ RIGHTS: The grant of planning permission for non-agricultural development may affect agricultural tenants’ security of tenure. ‘Tenant’ means a tenant of an agricultural holding any part of which is comprised in the land.
