What is planned?
THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015
The following applications have been submitted for consideration by the Council:
26/0834/FH - 12 Cheriton Place, Folkestone, CT20 2AZ - Installation of automatically opening smoke vent (AOV) & fenestration alterations to rear elevation.
26/0952/FH - The Springs, Coast Drive, St Marys Bay, Romney Marsh, TN29 0HN - Conversion of former care home (C2 use) to 12 flats (C3 use) to include part demolition and erection of a three storey extension on the north elevation and erection of third floor mansard roof. Change of use to Winifred House from (C2 use) to 2 x dwellings (C3 use). Demolition of care home buildings & squash courts & erection of 13 houses & 2 x flats. Including repositioning of the vehicle access onto Coast Drive, new internal access road and associated parking, landscaping and private gardens.
26/1017/FH - Homebase, Park Farm Road, Folkestone, CT19 5FJ - Variation of conditions 20 and 25 of planning permission Y04/1113/SH to enable subdivision of the unit to create two retail units and to amend the restriction on the range of goods that can be sold.
26/1018/FH - Homebase, Park Farm Road, Folkestone, CT19 5FJ - Demolition of the garden centre, removal of two storey staff block, creation of new entrances, partial reconfiguration of car park layout, provision of plant area, installation of new trolley bays and other associated works.
26/1039/FH - Former Aldi Store, 72 High Street, Hythe, CT21 5AL - Redevelopment for 32 retirement living apartments, 2 retirement cottages, and 179 sqm of Class E commercial space, including communal facilities, access, car parking and landscaping.

Please note that any representations received will be publically viewable on the Council’s website.
The applications marked (*) do not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.
