TETBURY UPTON FOOTPATH NO NTU 46 (PART) PUBLIC PATH ORDER 2026

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: 6TH AUGUST 2026

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14

The above Order was made on the 17th June 2026. The effect of the order as confirmed is TO DIVERT the entire width of that part of TETBURY UPTON Footpath No NTU 46 running from OS Grid Ref ST 8994 9393 (Point A) (opposite 26 Trubshaw Close) in a general north-easterly direction for approximately 56m to OSGR ST 8999 9395 (Point C) then in an easterly direction for approximately 151m to OSGR ST 9014 9393 (Point D) turning in a southerly direction for approximately 24m to OSGR ST 9014 9390 (Point B) as shown between points A - C - D - B AND CREATE the alternative footpath with a minimum width of 3m. running from OS Grid Ref ST 8994 9393 (Point A) (opposite 26 Trubshaw Close) in a general easterly direction for approximately 201m to OSGR ST 9014 9390 (Point B) where it rejoins the original route of Footpath No NTU 46 as shown between Points A - B on the plan attached to this Order. The new Footpath is to be made up of 2m wide hoggin path and 1m wide soft verge.

A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge at the Customer Services, Trinity Road, Cirencester, GL7 1PX during office hours and online at www.cotswold.gov.uk (Details may not be posted on the website until after this notice is issued; if you cannot find the relevant details, please try again the next day).

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Planning Manager, Cotswold District Council, Council Offices, Trinity Road, Cirencester, GL7 1PX not later than 6th August 2026. Please state the grounds on which any representations are made.

(Comments received may be available for public inspection and should not contain remarks which might be regarded as offensive or libellous. If you require any specific information to be excluded please advise us when making your comments. It is this Council's policy not to accept anonymous comments.)

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if so made are withdrawn, Cotswold District Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
