What is planned?

City of Stoke-on-Trent (Traffic Regulation)
Highways Act 1980 - Section 90 Proposed Traffic Calming - Longton Area.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Stokeon- Trent Council in exercise of its powers under Section 90 of the Highways Act 1980 and all other enabling powers, proposes to introduce traffic calming measures in various locations in Longton. 

The type, location and approximate sizes of these traffic calming features are as below :-
Road Hump (75mm x 6500mm x 3000mm)
(i) Wood Street - 54m West from its junction with Anchor Road.

(ii) Wood Street - 12m South from its junction with Herber Street.

Road Hump (75mm x 5500mm x 9000mm)

(iii) Ashwood - 18.5m North West from its junction with Woodcote Street.

Road Hump (75mm x 8500mm x 3000mm)

(iv) Drayton Road - 14.5m South from its junction with Belsay Close.

Road Hump (75mm x 5500mm x 3000mm)

(v) Wood Street - 12.5m South from its junction with Tuscan Street.

2. Speed Cushions (75mm x 1650mm x 2000mm)

(i) Wood Street - 9.5m South from its junction with Capewell Street.

(ii) Wood Street -11 m South West from its junction with Upper Cross Street.
Speed Cushions (75mm x 1900mm x 3000mm)

(i) Wood Street - 14.5 m North East from its junction with Anchor Place.

(ii) Drayton Road - 12.5m South East from its junction with Heathcote Close.

(iii) Drayton Road - 37m South East from its junction with Clarence Road.

Speed Cushions (75mm x 1750mm x 3000mm)

(i) Marlborough Road - 12.5m South East from its junction with Rutland Road.

(ii) Ashwood - 75.5m South East from its junction with Longley Road.

(iii) Ashwood - 8.5m West from its junction with Manse Close.

(iv) Ashwood - 3.5m West from its junction with Cornwall Street.
