PUBLIC FOOTPATH No. 41 (Part) PARISH OF KILLAMARSH ORDER 2026

North East Derbyshire District Council (the Council) gives notice that it has confirmed the above Order without modification.
The above order, made on 13 April 2026 will divert the whole width of that part of Killamarsh Public Footpath No 41 commencing at Point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (“GR”) SK 4570 7995) and proceeding in a south easterly direction to Point B (GR SK 4578 7988), a distance of approximately 111 metres or thereabouts to a 2 metre wide rolled stone-surfaced footpath commencing from Point A (GR SK 4570 7995) and curving in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 75 metres to Point C (GR SK 4577 7995), then turning to a south by east direction for approximately 68 metres to Point B (GR SK 4578 7988), a total distance of 143 metres or thereabouts.
A copy of the Confirmed Order made on 6 July 2026 may be inspected free of charge at the District Council Offices at 2013 Mill Lane Wingerworth Chesterfield S42 6AG from 9:00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) until 20 August 2026. A copy may also be viewed on the Councils website

The Order comes into force on the date on which the Council certifies that the terms of Article 2 have been complied with.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and wishing to question its validity, or any provision contained in the Order, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any procedural requirement of the Act, or any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Confirmation of the Order, he or she may within six weeks from the 9 July 2026 (being the date of publication) make an application to the High Court.
