What is planned?

PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Great Yarmouth Borough Council has received the following planning application for development in the Borough, which is hereby advertised.

The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 (Article 15).

THE PROPOSALS BELOW ARE ADVERTISED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

(1) Affects a Conservation Area (2) Affects the setting of a Conservation Area (3) Affects the setting of a Listed Building (4) Departure from development plans

Wellington Pier Complex, Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth: Variation of Conditions 1, 4 and 7 of pp 06/25/0928/VCF (a variation of pp 06/24/0213/F): Extension to provide new Family Entertainment Centre and lower-level car parking; Associated demolition works; Extension of pier decking.) – Amendments to previously approved plans – to relocate the proposed substation and remove the wavy green roof canopy on the east side and substitute the canopy with a decorative wavy fascia band on the extension east elevation; New landscaping scheme; Submission of Flood Response Plan. Application No 06/26/0373/VCF (1,3)

Camplings Laundry, Portland Lane, (land behind 256 Southtown Road), Great Yarmouth: Demolition of warehouse buildings, with retention of eastern side wall; Conversion of two retained industrial laundrette and office buildings into 9no dwellings, with associated alterations; Partial reuse of cleared warehouse area to provide car parking. Application No 06/25/0886/F (2, 3, 4)

Foster Close (land off), Ormesby St Margaret: Deed of Variation to an existing Section 106 Agreement dated 15th October 2021 pursuant to planning permissions 06/20/0156/0 (development of 33 dwellings,) and 06/22/1027/F (development of 7 dwellings): Amendments to the approved affordable housing mix and tenures, to change from providing 7no. Affordable Rent and 1no. Shared Ownership tenures, to instead provide 6no. Affordable Housing for Rent and 2no. Shared Ownership tenure dwellings, with associated amendments including to the terms of occupancy. Application No 06/26/0476/DOV (4)

2 Beech Farm Barns, Beccles Road, Belton: Erection of a detached cart shed. Application No 06/26/0147/HH (3)
