(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2026
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close various roads in Kirkcudbright on 17/7/26, 18:30 to 21:00 as follows: St Mary St, Dee Rd, St Mary St, St Cuthberts St, Castle St, Castledykes Rd, Longacres Rd, Dunbar Ave, Great Cross Rd, The Crofts, Selkirk Rd, Rossway Rd, Woodlands Ave, Barrhill Rd, Townend, Millburn St, St Cuthbert St, St Mary St, St Cuthbert St, Beaconsfield Pl, Bridge St, St Mary St, Victoria Park, Burnside Loaning, Stirling Acres Rd, Millflats, Jubilee Pl, St Mary St, Bridge St, Beaconsfield Pl, St Cuthbert St, St Cuthbert Rd, Silvercraigs Rd, Barrhill, High St. The closure is necessary to facilitate Kirkcudbright Riding of the Marches. Drivers should expect delays. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the following roads on 18/7/26: 12:30 to 14:00 Wallets Mart via Oakwell Road, Ernespie Road, King Street, Marle Street, Queen Street, New Market Street to Wallets Mart together with Market Hill Car Park (maintaining access to electric bays from Queen Street). Minor delays should be expected for the duration of the event. Emergency vehicle access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
