What is planned?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that applications have been made to the BOROUGH COUNCIL of NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME for planning permission for the development set out below: -

Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990
Development affecting a Conservation Area /Listed Building

1. Proposed conversion and change of use of parts of 31 & 31a to provide 12 apartments and alterations to the existing ground floor offices at 31 & 31a Ironmarket Newcastle Under Lyme Staffordshire ST5 1RP, by Sheer Ironmarket Ltd. File ref: 26/00077/FUL & 26/00056/LBC (Application site is a Grade II Listed Building, is within the Town Centre Conservation Area and the proposal is for Major Development)

2. Extension to existing outbuilding/garage at Whitmore Lea Newcastle Road Whitmore Newcastle Under Lyme Staffordshire ST5 5HR by Mr B Shaw. File ref: 26/00396/FUL (Application site is within the Whitmore Conservation Area)

3. Proposed refurbishment of bus station to include bus shelters, real time passenger display units and landscaping at Bus Station, Stubbs Street, Newcastleunder- Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 1AQ by Newcastleunder- Lyme Borough Council. File ref. 26/00436/ DEEM3. (Application site is adjacent to Listed Buildings and is within the Town Centre Conservation Area) The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2010 Article 13

1. Full planning application for the erection of 114 dwellings with landscaping and sustainable drainage, public open space including play space, and vehicular access off Galingale View, Dill Close, and Gadwall Croft at Land West Of Galingale View, Newcastle-under- Lyme by Robin Buckley, Persimmon Homes Ltd. File ref: 26/00429/FUL (Application is a major development).

During the period of 21 days beginning with the date of the publication of this Notice you may call in to Castle House Barracks Road Newcastleunder- Lyme ST5 1BL at any time between the hours of 9.00 am to 4.30 pm on weekdays only to inspect the application plans and documents. Alternatively, the applications may be viewed online at www.newcastle-staffs.gov.uk

Any person who wishes to make representations to the above mentioned Council should make them in writing within that period to the Development Control Manager, Regeneration and Development Services Castle House Barracks Road Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 1BL or e-mail to planningapplications@newcastle-staffs.gov.uk Please bear in mind that any communication you send will be open to inspection by, and may be copied to, other parties.
