CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 32 (BRADFORD WEST) (PART) OFF THORNTON ROAD (DIVERSION) ORDER 2026
On 30 June 2026, the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (the “Council”) confirmed the above Order.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the part of Public Footpath No.32 (Bradford West) off Thornton Road, Bradford (and any unrecorded bridleway and/or restricted byway over the same route) marked by a bold black line between points A-B on the Order map; and to create an alternative footpath marked by bold black dashes between points C-D-E-F on the map, which will be followed by the creation of a bridleway marked by bold black dashes between points F-B on the map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be examined on the Council’s website https://bradford.moderngov.co.uk/mgConsultationListDisplay.aspx.
They may also be seen free of charge at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY during normal office hours Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased there.
The Order comes into force on the date on which the Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from the date of this notice.
