ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
PART OF DERWENT CRESCENT, HOWDEN
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
• Phase 1 - Part of Derwent Crescent, Howden from its junction with Derwent Road northbound encompassing property numbers 69 and 147 commencing 27 July 2026 until 3 August 2026 and
• Phase 2 - Part of Derwent Crescent, Howden from its junction with Derwent Road northbound encompassing property numbers 3 and 4 commencing 3 August 2026 until 10 August 2026
For the purposes of renewal of gas mains and services works. The road closures are necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 15 days. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closures will be via Derwent Crescent and Derwent Road, Howden CP, Howden Ward. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The roads will be closed to all through traffic but access will be maintained for residents,
