I give notice that North Yorkshire Council has REFUSED planning permission in respect of the Application for Extraction and processing of magnesian limestone, the installation & operation of a low-level aggregate processing plant with ancillary buildings & restoration by infilling of the void space with inert waste to original ground levels at land off A63 Lumby, North Yorkshire, LS25 5LD. Application Ref no. NY/2022/0102/ENV. The application, accompanied by an Environmental Statement, has been determined by the Council. Members of the public may inspect information regarding & copies of the following: (i) the Notice of Decision dated 26/05/26; (ii) the Officer’s report & the environmental information relevant to the decision which together contain; (a) the main reasons & considerations on which the decision is based including information about the participation of the public at North Yorkshire Council (Selby) Planning Department Civic Centre Civic Centre Doncaster Road Selby during normal office hours. Please note that this may require a prior appointment. You are advised to check with the Council before making your visit.
