The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Diversion of Highway (East) (No.14) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up and diversion of a length of Footpath 39/109 at Cambridge, in the City of Cambridge. This is to enable development as permitted by Cambridge City Council, under references 18/0481/OUT and 22/03140/REM.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/E/ S247/6209). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Cambridgeshire County Council, Huntingdon Highways Depot, Stanton Way, Huntingdon PE29 6PY.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 1 July 2026.
