Public Parth Diversion Order 2026

The above order was made on 20 May 2026 . The effect of the order will be to divert the public bridleway, as shown by the bold black continuous line on the Order Map, commencing at a point, SK 6986 4023 and proceeding for a distance of approximately 215 metres in a generally west-north-westerly direction to a point, SK 6968 4035 and create an alternative bridleway:-

commencing from a point, SK 6983 4036, at the junction with the adopted highway and proceeding for a distance of approximately 195 metres in a generally north-westerly, generally westerly, and finally south-westerly direction to a point, SK 6968 4035 at the junction with Bingham Footpath No. 2 and the remainder of Bingham Bridleway No. 23 with a width of 3 metres throughout its length on a bitumen macadam surface; and commencing from a point, SK 6986 4023, at the junction with the remainder of Bingham Bridleway No.35, and proceeding for a distance of approximately 80 metres in a generally westerly and then north-north-westly direction to meet with the adopted highway at a point, SK 6982 4030, with a width of 3 metres throughout its length on a bitumen macadam surface; as shown by the bold black dashed line on the Order Map.

A copy of the order and the Order Map may be seen free of charge until 27 July 2026 at the offices of Rushcliffe Borough Council, Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7YG during normal office hours. Copies of the Order may be obtained at a reasonable charge.

Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to The Borough Solicitor, Rushcliffe Borough Council, Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7YG or via email to lservices@rushcliffe.gov.uk and must be received no later than 27 July 2026. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Rushcliffe Borough Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
