The proposal is within the Higherford Conservation Area. (c) Heather View, 13 Green End Road, Earby 26/0371/FUL Full: Subdivision of property into 2 no. dwellings. The proposal is within the Earby Conservation Area. (d) 2A - 6, Manchester Road, Nelson 26/0375/FUL Full: Erection of a single storey rear extension to 4-6 Manchester Rd and enclosure to rear yard to form additional shop floor area at 2A. The proposal is within the Whitefield Conservation Area.
HOUSEHOLDER APPLICATIONS
(e) 4 Greystones Lodge, Gisburn Road, Blacko 26/0382/HHO Full: Erection of a detached domestic double garage incorporating a garden room. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. As this is a householder application, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage. Tahe Council has received these applications and is required to advertise them under the above legislation. Copies of the applications can be inspected during normal office hours at Number One Market Street, Nelson until 17th July 2026. The case officers dealing with these applications are: (a, c & d) Laura Barnes who can be contacted on (01282) 661719 (b & e) Luke Jones (661239). Any representations about these applications should be made either in writing to the Planning Manager, Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, BB9 7LG, so as to arrive not later than 17th July 2026; or, a copy of the application can be inspected on the Council’s website (

under Planning/View Planning Applications) and comments made online. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details.
