ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

LYON ROAD, EASTBURN

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works to be executed on or near Lyon Road, Eastburn has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Lyon Road from a point outside Lyon House to a point outside No. 15 Lyon Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Lyon Road (unaffected section), Skipton Road, Main Road, Green Lane and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 29th of June 2026 and remains in force until 17:00 hours on the 29th of June 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
