What is planned?

TAKE NOTICE that the Borough Council has received the following planning applications and listed building consents (LBC) submitted under The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990:
*R/2026/0390/CA: Loft conversion; Velux windows to rear; conversion of outbuilding to form additional residential accommodation at 24 Upleatham Street, Saltburn by the Sea
*R/2026/0397/CA: Conversion of part of garage to living space including rooms in roof with 3 dormers to front at Coach House, 49 Marske Mill Lane, Saltburn by the Sea
*R/2026/0418/CA: Single storey rear extension with replacement pitched roof to existing rear extension at 70 High Street West, Redcar
*As the above applications are householder applications, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission dealt with on the basis of written representations, any representations made will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment.

R/2026/0400/CA: Improvements to rear decking area including removal of outbuilding; new paving with additional secure store; retractable canopy over existing deck terrace at The Britannia Inn, 65 High Street, Loftus
R/2026/0403/CA and R/2026/0431/LB: Planning and LBC for alterations to window to form sash opening to be used as serving hatch at 6 Station Buildings, Station Square, Saltburn by the Sea
R/2026/0421/LB: LBC Removal of existing gate and section of stone plinth to form level access; creation of paved external seating area at Milton Street Market, Milton Street, Saltburn
R/2026/0448/AC: Retention of internally illuminated fascia sign and 'barbers' pole (retrospective) at 1-3 Westgate, Guisborough

R/2026/0448/AC: Retention of internally illuminated fascia sign and 'barbers' pole (retrospective) at 1-3 Westgate, Guisborough
Applications submitted under Article 15 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015:
R/2026/0167/FFM: Change of use from residential nursing home (C2) to a HMO with 46 rooms (Sui Generis use) (Part Retrospective) at Morgan House, Margrove Road, Boosbeck
