I give notice that Blackpool Council are applying to Blackpool Council (Planning, Development Management) for a hybrid planning application comprising of:

Full Planning application for:

i) The demolition of up to 300 existing buildings and structures on the site and removal of associated existing infrastructure, ii) site clearance and preparation work and; Outline application ( all matters reserved) for:

i) Up to 230 new dwellings ( Use Class C3) with car and cycle parking ii) Local Centre Uses comprising floorspace for flexible E use classes (including office, retail, leisure [including food and beverage]), F2 use classes (including halls, meeting places for local community) iii) New public realm and hard and soft landscaped public open spaces iv) Provision of associated infrastructure and highway works

On land bounded by Kent Road, Salthouse Avenue, Rigby Road, Central Drive, Revoe Street, Grasmere Road, Ashton Road, Harrison Street, Ibbison Court and Princess Street, Blackpool.

This proposal is being publicised because it constitutes a major development that is accompanied by an Environmental Statement and effects a conservation area. Members of the public may inspect an electronic copy of the application, plans, EIA and other submitted documents on the Council’s website at www.blackpool.gov.uk/planningsearch. A copy of the EIA can be inspected at Revoe Library and the Councils offices by appointment only during all reasonable hours. The public may obtain a paper copy at a cost of £250 from the Council.
