Diversion Order 2026
On 12/06/26 The North Yorkshire Council confirmed the
above Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to
divert the public bridleway described below & modify the
Former East Riding, now situated within the County of
North Yorkshire Definitive Map & Statement accordingly.
Public Bridleway No. 35.62/9 - From GR SE6126 4068
south of Heron Dyke & running south south east along a
cross-field track to GR SE6136 4026, then south west along
a track to GR SE6120 4013, will be diverted on to a new
line from GR SE6126 4068 & running west south west
alongside Heron Dyke to GR SE6104 4062 & then running
south south east along a field boundary to GR SE6120
4013, where it joins a track in the corner of a field, as shown
on the Order map. A copy of the Order & Order map may
be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Selby
Library, 52 Mickelgate, Selby, North Yorkshire until
06/08/26. Copies of the Order & Map may be purchased
from Countryside Access Service, North Yorkshire Council,
County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel:
01609 532512) at a cost of £2.00, or can be downloaded
free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices.
This Order comes into force on the date on which The North
Yorkshire Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the
Order have been complied with but if any person aggrieved
by the Order desires to question its validity, or that of any
provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within
the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any
requirement of the Act, or of any regulation made under it
has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation
of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any
of these purposes under section 287 of the Town & Country
Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which
notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of
