(KIRKTON ROAD, NEILSTON) TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD ORDER 2026
On the 10th June 2026 The East Renfrewshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section of Kirkton Road, Neilston, in order to facilitate the essential bridge repair works from Monday 7th September to Friday 18th September 2026.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Diversion route: Kirkton Road – Kingston Road – High Street – Neilson Road – Kirktonfield Road – Springfield Road – Springhill Road – Kirkton Road and vice versa.
