Site: Former Broke Hill Golf Club, Sevenoaks Road, Halstead, Kent, TN14 7HR. Advertised departure from the Local Plan. 

Application Ref No: 25/02129/OUT 

Development: Outline application (with all matters reserved except for access) for up to 660 dwellings (Use Class C3), a retirement village of up to 150 units (Use Class C2) and care home (Use Class C2) together with a primary school, local centre, café, mixed use area, and country park with associated car parking and landscaping. Advertised departure from local plan. 

This application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement. Volume 1 of the Environmental Statement is made up of chapters including; EIA Methodology, Alternatives and Design Evolution, Development Programme and Construction, Transport and Access, Air Quality, Noise and Vibration, Water Quality, Hydrology & Flood Risk, Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, Soils, Geology and Contaminated Land, Waste Management, and Climate Change and Greenhouse Gas Assessment. The chapters are supported by various appendices in Volume 2 of the Environmental Statement. Volume 3 is a Non-Technical summary of the above chapters.
