What is planned?
Notice of Public Consultation
Tuesday 30th June 2026 From 12:30pm to 7:00pm
The Freedom Centre, Humber Suite, 97 Preston Road, Hull, HU9 3QB
Onshore Wind Development at the Port of Hull
The public are invited to attend a consultation as part of Associated British Ports (ABP) plans to install an onshore wind turbine at the Port of Hull.
Plans are being developed for one turbine at Hull. This would be additional to the two turbines that were submitted into planning in March 2024 and would mean three turbines in total at the port if all are consented.
The turbines are important to help control the cost of electricity and directly decarbonise port electricity, thereby helping to safeguard existing jobs at the port and hopefully provide a foundation for industrial growth.
How to Participate The consultation will take place at The Freedom Centre, on Tuesday 30th June 2026 between 12:30 and 7:00pm.
At this event people can view the proposed plans and talk to members of the project team.
