The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (East Midlands) (No.11) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a length and part width of Cliffe Hill Road, Stoney Lane, Cliffe Lane, and an irregular shaped area of highway at the junction of Cliffe Hill Road and Stoney Lane at Coalville in the County of Leicestershire. This is to enable development as permitted by Leicestershire County Council under reference 2022/ EIA/0100/LCC.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SUO NUMBER). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Markfield Library, Oakfield Avenue, Leicestershire, LE67 9WG.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 23 June 2026.
