Notice is hereby given that The London Borough of Sutton has published its Draft Local Plan for public comment. Representations are being invited from 18 June 2026 to 31 July 2026.

The Draft Local Plan sets out the council’s vision for the development of the whole of the London Borough of Sutton. It highlights key areas for regeneration and redevelopment and investment. It includes policies to guide development in the borough, which are to be used in the determination of planning applications. It also includes allocated sites.

Alongside the Draft Local Plan, the council is consulting on the Changes to the Policies Map document, the Draft Local Plan Appendix and the Draft Local Plan Sustainability Appraisal (Incorporating Equality Impact Assessment and Habitats Regulations Assessment).
