What is planned?

MOLE VALLEY DISTRICT COUNCIL

Notice Is Hereby Given that the District Council has received applications for planning permission, Listed Building Consent, a Departure, Major Development, Significant Development, or which may affect a Public Right of Way as the case may be for developments as briefly described in the following schedule. 

MO/2026/00760/ PLAHH: 12 WATHEN ROAD DORKING RH4 1JZ: Repair and re-instatement of front boundary treatment, access steps and associated landscaping. 

MO/2026/00774/LBC & 00775/PLAHH: 8 CASTLE GARDENS BROCKHAM RH4 1NY: Demolition of existing rear extension and erection of single storey rear extension. 

MO/2026/00776/LBC & 00777/PLAHH: 10 WHEELERS LANE BROCKHAM RH3 7LE: Lowering level of internal slab of ground floor, internal changes and alterations to existing elevations comprising; replacement of door to window and infilling of wall below (ground floor) on North West elevation; installation of new window (first floor) and relocation of front door on North East elevation; blocking up of existing doorway and installation of new doorway and new window (ground floor) and blocking up of existing windows and re- location of window (first floor) on South East Elevation; replacement of central door in widened opening and widening of existing double doors (ground floor), erection of pitched roof over existing flat roofed dormer window, remove existing rooflight and installation of two new conservation rooflights on South West elevation. Rebuild part of the later underbuilt 4-inch walling. Repairs to the external walls including replacement of cement pointing/repairs, replacecement render that is loose or dangerous with Lime render, replace mastics with Oakam and lime putty. Repairs to the roof include the replacement of broken roof tiles with reclaimed handmade double camber local clay tiles and replace any broken ridge tiles with handmade hogs back ridges. Fix rainwater goods with cast iron. Internal alterations include the removal of existing internal staircase and erection of new internal staircase within proposed Reception Hall; wall infill between proposed inner hall and boot room; reconfiguration of stud walls within southeastern bedroom for replacement ensuite; removal of bathroom from northern corner of building and installation of new bathroom adjacent to new location of staircase.

MO/2026/00778/PLA: 1 BROOME HALL BROOMEHALL ROAD COLDHARBOUR RH5 6HJ: Installation of 6 No. external lights, comprising 4 No. on the south-west elevation and 2 No. on the south-east elevation and erection of an external flue and retractable awning to serve artist studio. 

MO/2026/00779/PLAHH: 4 ELM COTTAGES BYTTOM HILL MICKLEHAM RH5 6EL: Erection of garden shed. Copies of these applications and plans are open for inspection at www.molevalley.gov.uk.
