What is planned?
Public Notice – Under the Town and
Country Planning (Environmental
Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017
Maidenhead Waterways Restoration Group
(the applicant) hereby gives notice that it has
provided an Environmental Statement in support of its S73 Variation request No. 26/00790/VAR, submitted to the Local Planning Authority on 27th March 2026. The S73 Variation seeks an amendment to the extant planning consent No. 11/01283 for the Restoration and Enhancement of the waterway channels between Town Moor and Green Lane, Maidenhead.
The S73 Variation seeks solely to delete Condition 3 (time limit to complete) of the original waterways consent, allowing further stages to be implemented when feasible. The original planning consent, the S73 Variation application and the resubmitted Environmental Statement have been published online by the Local Planning Authority under reference 26/00790/VAR at www.rbwm.gov.uk/home/planning/find-planning-application.
Representations on the S73 Variation request, or the Environmental Statement itself, may be made within 30 days of this notice by Email to planning@rbwm.gov.uk.
