The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No.13) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway to the west of High Road Wormley at Wormley, in the Borough of Broxbourne. This is to enable development as permitted by Broxbourne Borough Council, under reference 07/25/0583/F.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO6137173). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Broxbourne Borough Council, Bishops College, Churchgate, College Road, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, EN8 9XQ.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 18 June 2026.
