Notice is given that the Council has received the following application/s for planning permission and/or listed building consent which involve development in a conservation area and/or affecting a listed building:-

FOR: Listed Building Consent for removal of post 19th century internal partitions, reinstatement of previously sealed doorway from the central porch/lounge into eastern front room and installation of lightweight partitions to form a discreet utility room and a WC at ground floor level and installation of lightweight partitions on the western side of the first floor level to reconfigure bedroom and layout. FOR: Planning Permission for proposed change of use of part of the ground floor from retail (Use Class E) to residential use (Use Class C3) external alterations to the shop front and internal alterations.

AT: Land at Hammond Ground Whalley Road Read BB12 7RP FOR: Erection of 77 no dwellings and creation of community parkland, with vehicular access from Whalley Road and associated infrastructure, parking and landscaping. Application number: 3/2026/0356

Representations on the above application/s should be made in writing within 21 days from the date of this Notice as, after this date, the Council is entitled to make a decision. Any representations received will be available for inspection by members of the public on the website and in the Planning Department and will be sent to the Secretary of State in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission.
