Notice under regulation 7(2)(b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant
The Glasgow Academy – Anniesland Sports Ground
Proposed development at The Glasgow Academy Sports Ground, Anniesland Road, Glasgow, G13 1XS for the proposed upgrade of sports facilities, including installation of floodlights and other ancillary development.
Two in-person consultation events are being held by the Glasgow Academy. An initial round of consultation will take place on Wednesday 24th June 2026 between 4pm to 7pm at New Anniesland Pavillion, 41 Helensburgh Drive, Anniesland, G13 1RR. The second event will be held at the same venue, at the same time on Wednesday 29th July 2026.

Persons wishing to make comments on the proposal as part of this initial round of consultation should do so by Wednesday 8th July 2026. Feedback can be given via feedback cards available at the in-person event or survey form on the website noted above.
This notice does not relate to a planning application at this point. Comments should not be made to Glasgow City Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority.
Upon validation of the planning application, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
