THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE (MANSFIELD DISTRICT) DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (MANSFIELD FOOTPATH NO. 56 & MANSFIELD FOOTPATH NO. 5) MODIFICATION ORDER 2026

The above Order made on 29th of May 2026 under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the Mansfield District by adding thereto the footpath in the District of Mansfield commencing from point SK 7048 8246,
on Woburn Road and proceeding in generally north-north westerly direction for approximately 634 metres to a point, SK 6960 8311, at the junction with Mansfield Footpath No. 5 as described in the Order and shown on the order plan.

A copy of the Order, Order Map and Statement of Reasons may be seen free of charge at my Office at the address below between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive until 29th of July 2026. Copies of the Order and Map may be purchased from my Office at a cost of
£5 per copy. Please email

or contact the Nottinghamshire County Council Customer Service Centre on: 0300 500 80 80. The documents will also be available for inspection at Mansfield District Council Offices, Civic Centre, Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield,
NG19 7BH and Mansfield Central Library, Four Seasons Centre, West Gate, Mansfield NG18 1NH during the respective opening hours until 29th of July 2026. In addition, copies of the Order and the Order map will be available for inspection on-line on the County Council website:-

Any representations about or objections to the Order must be received by the Countryside Access Team at the address given below or by e-mail to

not later than 29th of July 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made and include your name and address.

If no such representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Nottinghamshire County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State (or part of it if the Authority has by notice to the Secretary of State so elected
under Paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981) may itself confirm the Order (or that part of the Order) as an unopposed Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, (in whole or in part), any representations or objections
which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
