HYSBYSIR TRWY HYN fod Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin (y cyfeirir ato fel ‘y Cyngor’ o hyn ymlaen), drwy arfer y pwerau a roddir gan Adran 90A o Ddeddf Priffyrdd 1980 (y cyfeirir ati fel ‘y Ddeddf’ o hyn ymlaen) a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, ac ar ôl ymgynghori â Phrif Swyddog yr Heddlu a’r cyrff neu’r personau hynny a bennir gan Reoliadau Priffyrdd (Twmpathau Ffyrdd) 1999 (y cyfeirir atynt fel ‘y Rheoliadau’ o hyn ymlaen) yn unol ag Adran 90C(1) o’r Ddeddf, ac yn unol ag Adrannau 90C(2) a 90C(3) o’r Ddeddf, yn bwriadu gwaredu’r clustogau cyflymder presennol ac adeiladu twmpathau ffordd newydd yn eu lle yn yr un lleoliad, yn unol â’r Rheoliadau, ar hyd ffordd y B4459 ym Mhencader.

Removal of Existing Speed Cushions and Constrution of New Road Humps - B4459, Pencader

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Carmarthenshire County Council (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Council’), in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police and those bodies or persons prescribed by the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Regulations’) in accordance with Section 90C(1) of the Act, and in accordance with Sections 90C(2) and 90C(3) of the Act, intends to remove the existing speed cushions and construct new road humps in their place at the same location, in compliance with the Regulations, along the B4459 road in Pencader.

The locations and description of the proposed road humps are more particularly outlined in the Schedule to this Notice.

Full details of the proposal, together with a plan and a statement of the Council’s reasons for seeking to implement these measures, may be examined at the office of the Council’s Customer Service HWB located at Unit 22, St Catherine’s Walk, Carmarthen SA31 1GA during usual office hours.

SCHEDULE
Part I - Road Hump with a Raised Plateau Centred at a location along the B4459 road in Pencader 45 metres north of its junction with Glanawmor Road.

The proposed new road hump will extend across the full width of the carriageway and will be in the form of a flat-top raised plateau. The plateau will measure at least 6000 millimetres (6 metres) in length, and 75 millimetres in height in line with the tolerances permitted in the Regulations (where a hump shall not exceed 100 millimetres in maximum height).

Part II - Tapered Road Hump with a Round Top Centred at a location along the B4459 road in Pencader 45 metres south of its junction with Glanawmor Road.

The proposed new road hump will be a round top tapered hump, which is not completely kerb-to-kerb.

The curved top profile will measure at least 3700 millimetres (3.7 metres) in length, and 75 millimetres in height in line with the tolerances permitted in the Regulations (where a hump shall not exceed 100 millimetres in maximum height).
