The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No.12) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a western part width of Harpers Road comprising its highway verge at Guildford, in the Borough of Guildford. This is to enable development as permitted by Guildford Borough Council under reference 23/P/01965.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO7082566).
They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Ash Library, Ash Street, Ash, Surrey, GU12 6LF.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 17 June 2026.
