Proposal - Proposed Relocation of Topsoil
Site Location - Land at the Former Drumshangie Open Cast Coal Site

Public engagement events are being held for the purposes of community consultation for this possible development proposal.

The in-person consultation events will take place on Wednesday the 24th of June and Wednesday the of 8th July between the hours of 15:00-19:00 at the Albert Bartlett Factory, 251 Stirling Road, ML6 7SP.

Further information relating to this proposal may be obtained from Bidwells, the agent, by emailing planningscotland@bidwells.co.uk or tel 01738 630666.

You are able to make comment on the proposal directly to the developer at this stage, either at the above events and/ or in writing to Bidwells, Broxden House, Lamberkine Drive, Perth, PH1 1RA or via the above email address.

These comments must be submitted no later than the 29 th of July 2026.

Please note that all comments must be sent to the developer to the contact details stated above and NOT to North Lanarkshire Council. There will be an opportunity to make representations to the council as and when a formal planning application for the proposal is submitted.
