Staplehurst Neighbourhood Development Plan

The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012

Regulation 16

Staplehurst Parish Council has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan that sets out a vision for the neighbourhood area and a series of policies that the community is proposing to be used in the determination of planning applications.

Public consultation on the plan will commence on 22nd June 2026 and close on 31st July 2026. Representations received after the closing date will not be considered.

Representations will be considered alongside the Neighbourhood Development Plan by an independent Examiner. Representations may include a request to be notified of the Borough Council’s decision following a referendum and/or when the Neighbourhood Plan is made.

All representations will be publicly available. All personal data will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation.
